Crystallization is a method of polishing mainly marble (it also works well with other limestone).
It is a type of wet maintenance procedure. Crystallization is carried out by applying crystallizer on a small fragment of floor, which is then buffed with a nylon pad or steel wool (depending on the chosen technology). After crystallization, the stone floor acquires mirrorlike shine. Colours become more vivid and the stone looks as if it was freshly washed. The effect of crystallization is long-lasting and strengthens the structure of the stone, making it hard and abrasion-resistant while restoring the glossy shine of the floor surface and providing anti-slip properties.
